Care Home Activities

Activities at Springfield House Rest Home

Our lovely carers at Springfield House Rest HomeWe have a wide variety of Activities in the home from Music for Health to Bingo to taking people out in the garden and having a walk around or helping with the seasonal planting of flowers.

We have event days for annual events for example Easter bonnet parades, Pantomimes at Christmas and summer fetes. We encourage family members to become part of the home and invite them to join in with activities in the home. We are always open to suggestions for families to become more involved in their loved one's stay here.

We have a cat and budgie that reside at the home and provide great stimulation for the residents (and staff).

The home has the benefit of three lounges. Any of these may be recommended to a resident for their choice depending on how frail they are both physically and mentally.

Stimulation is key to good care

Religious Needs:

We have a monthly visit from the Vicar of St. Mark’s Church who gives communion and conducts a short service for those who wish to participate. All other denominations are catered for as the need arises.
